8703A HP Optical Analyzer
Additional Features: 300 kHz to 20 GHz modulation frequency Calibrated frequency response measurements of high-speed optical, electro-optical, and electrical components 1300, or 1550 nm operation Reflection measurements with <1 mm resolution <5 mm two-event resolution up to 50 dB optical dynamic range The Keysight Agilent HP 8703A light wave component analyzer has a 20 GHz modulation frequency range plus optical, electrical, and electro-optical transmission and reflection measurement capability. It is an excellent solution for testing light wave system components that operate at microwave frequencies and very high bit rates. This integrated system allows you to accurately characterize lasers, photodiodes, optical assemblies, transmitter/receiver pairs, and electrical microwave circuits. Measurements are made using a calibrated, swept 130 MHz to 20 GHz signal modulating a 1300 or 1550 nm optical carrier. Results are displayed in formats that match your application- magnitude, differential phase, and distance-time.
